I think you are referring to Garcia: A Signpost to New Space, in which case I would highly recommend it! Its all one looong and really interesting/trippy interview with JG in 1971!

well the first 40 pages or so went quickly last night - when I'm done if anybody wants I'll stick it in mail - the only problem is its one of those big hard covers making reading in bed a bit harder.

the first half is interesting historically but the second half, the "stoned sunday rap", really gets me...

its the most insightful thing i've read in terms of jerry philosophizing on various subjects :)

but yeah, all of it is wonderful
